If you look closely at the entrance of the crevice, there are things sticking out of the rocks to outside. From there, there is a filter of some sort that cleans the air that's blowing INTO the city. u v u

Wolframlove points are correct imho. o v o ;;; First, just because they're underground in a cave doesn't mean that they're neanderthals that have no concept of technology. Next, this is during the time /after/ humanity was toying around with nuclear bombs that led to their own demise o ^ o so frankly speaking they should have the knowledge how to keep the radiation out and yet still let the sunlight in. Lastly, ...uhhh this is a /SCI-FI/ steam-punk'd theme group...so it wouldn't hurt to use a little imagination here = v = a;;;

Like you said, nuclear bombs led the their demise. Which means they would have blown up a hell of a lot of whatever technology they would have used before the bombs hit and although it is a fictional story it has to believable otherwise the storyline wont last and people will get bored.

My only other point is that its a good picture :3

I get your point o ^ o ;; but what i mean is that... as long as there's the knowledge on how to make them then having it once more shouldn't prove to be a problem. let's say there's an inventor/engineer, a scientist, a blacksmith, and different sorts of people, that knows how to create said technology...then wouldn't it still plausible for it be re-created? o A o ;; they're underground, they have bountiful of metalic resources to make it happen. ;;;; it's still a realistic notion isn't it, when given the time? o ^ o ;;;
