I ended up going past these backwards (yes, very far behind on looking at lots of things, not to mention writing). The whole sequence of rising like that (having looked at the pages and panels backwards) Was that was about a panel per second of the emergence?

Lion Turtles are wicked! I always thought they must have been inspired by the second Avatar Kurma. I really liked how it turned out, even if I could not understand him ^_^;

All the rendered elements of the Lion Turtle looked awesome in the show. The episode looked great Giancarlo. Except for the fact they cut out the Suki arm wrestling with Jun (which was most of my section lol!) G-Unit!!!

The whole room actually burst into laughter at this part, because we had been joking about it being a giant island-turtle (a la Majora's Mask), and suddenly...surprise, surprise, it WAS a giant island-turtle!

I had a 7-way phone conversation with my most avatarded friendsw, and I swear that when we saw the island moved, we all said at once "Oh, that's definiteley a turtle."
