So I did 66 sketch cards for the upcoming Clone Wars movie and tv show. Here's a sample of one of them- Padme Amidala. She kinda looks like Katara.UPDATE:
Okay, so maybe she doesn't look like Katara. When I first started this job though, Dave Filoni (the supervising director) was poking fun at me that my drawings of the Star Wars characters looked like Avatar people.
Which I consider a compliment, thank you very much.

Wow, I like the coloring. What kind of materials did you use?
The pose is ingenious and the fingers look fabulous. But, I do have to rant a little. Half of the lip on the left hand side of the picture looks like its slacking a little. Also, I cant help but notice that the shine on the eyes are not in justice with the lighting source.
Otherwise, a fabulous picture!

I drew in pencil, then inked with a "Uniball Vision" pen. Then I did a wash of color with markers, then rendered on top of that with colored pencils, then inked it one more time to make the black pop more.

Ahh, I see now. A very unique combo of the pencils & markers. Not something I usually do, but, I'll try it. ^^ Good work!

<3 <3 <3 I am so excited about this movie! She reminds me more of Suki I think (the stance and facial expression), although if her eyes were blue she would really look like Katara.

Ah, the way you drew her here actually reminds me of Leia in the first scene in A New Hope

Star Wars! Coolio! I like the anime-ness. She does kinda look like Suki or Katara. (yay for Avatar and Star Wars) . I liked Padme best in the Clone Wars, I think...probably because I was too confused in the Phantom Menace to pay attention to the character because I couldn't distinguish between Natalie Portman and Kiera Knightly.
