My new species for a story I'm going to write!!
I'm gonna go all formal on the lore ok XDD

Howler Lore:

Howlers are basically the "moon tribe". They have been around for centuries following and guarding the moon. Their Queen has a giant orb that controls all their beliefs, powers, their whole life basically. Even hers. If that orb goes into the wrong hands that could be the end of the howlers. Each tribe has a King, Queen or Elder that keeps their tribe safe. The Howlers keep their orb in the Moonstone Waterfall. That waterfall is one of the most sacred and guarded places in all of the lands. The Howlers have a moon God named Lunaris. They believe that she was the first Howler to ever exist and controls the moon. Her soul was said to live in the Moonstone Waterfall. That's why it's so sacred to the Howlers. If anyone from the other tribes ever stepped foot anywhere near the Moonstone Waterfall, they will be interrogated, sacrificed or killed. Usually higher status have rare and legendary traits with a few common traits. Those with lower status usually have Common or rare traits. The Howlers' good friends are the Mistlings. It's said they've been allied ever since Lunaris existed. It's also said that their goddesses were really good friends. Some people think they were mates. Howler traditions usually have to do with the moon or the stars. Here are a few of their traditions:
Moon Festival - whenever there is a full moon.
Blood Moon Festival - They sacrifice one of their prisoners to the blood moon.
2 Moon Celebration - 2 moons are very rare so whenever it happens they celebrate.
and there are many more. They are a nocturnal tribe which means they sleep during the day and are awake at night. They are a very calm and happy tribe with an amazing queen.

Notes: -When I say "horns" it can be any type of horn! Like dragon horns, antlers, bull horns, etc!
-When they do have wings the most common ones they have are bat wings! Batwings are the tribe's favorite!^^
- They can have bat ears!
- They are fairly big, like an adult would be the size of an elephant, while a baby would be the size of a cheetah! ^^
