Meet Adera, a batpony hailing from the Hollow Shades. All her life she'd been a fairly normal mare, with a fairly normal special talent, until she ran afoul of some nast magic, causing her lower half to transform into a 24ft long snake. Now she's too heavy to get around flying, and is living a grounded life adjusting to her new form.

Despite her fearsome appearance, her fellow townfolk have known her literally all her life, and after a few months, have all gotten used to her new form.
She's very sweet, and when she's excited, or gets complimented, happily rattles her tail and gets all blushy
