Description
As the title states, this is actually the first character I've ever created (well, for a story. 'Characters' before him were simply childish doodles that served no real purpose). He went through quite a few redesigns before I became satisfied with this one. After his story was written...back in fourth grade or earlier I think, he was pretty much ignored for years until I came upon the book I made.

Yeah, the drawings were crap, the plot's basically a massive E.T. rip-off (with the 'getting left behind on Earth and need the help of a kid to get back' theme), but he still has a special place in my heart. With the redesign, I decided to change his history and everything so that maybe I can make a new story with him.

This is Nick, instead of getting left behind on Earth, he actually crashed here. He was the only surviving creature in the wreakage, any other living beings were more or less burnt to a crisp or left behind shells or exo-skelentons of some kind (oddly, the corpses didn't appear to be of the same species as Nick). Due to the crash, Nick gained amnesia and can't remember anything from before the crash, not even his original name. The name 'Nick' was given by the person that found him. To add to that, he lost both arms during the crash. Furtunately, he gained faux arms as part of an experiment (along with that C-section scar, but it's not very clear as to what purpose that served).

Over time, he gaines sort of 'flash-backs' or remembers tib-its of his life before Earth. Though they'er not much, at least it's something.

As for personality, he's strong-willed and competitive. He can't stand the thought of being seen as weak to others, so that would mean he's self-concious of himself. This is much less evident to people he knows well though, as he doesn't try 'to put up a front' nearly as much as he would a stranger.

As for abilities, his arms can stretch to amazing lengths and can support a lot of weight (he can even elevate himself with them). To increase their usefulness, they can even change shape other than stretch. The 'orbs' at the end of his antennas randomly glow, though not even Nick knows what that's for.

For weaknesses, he can't survive well in cold. Winter is deadly to him, even the time of Fall can make him very ill from cold. He can adapt to heat exceptionally well, which may explain how he survived the crash. Another weakness of his is that alcohol causes him great harm, including awful burning and extreme symptoms of being drunk. And that's only in small doses. Not really a weakness as it is an inconvienence, he can't walk like humans, only hop like a kangaroo.
