's character very much into a game of Super Mario Bros. (even though it's the first level >> )

I gave him a beanbag chair, because he seemed like a beanbag sort of guy. And, yes, his TV and NES ARE floating. Don't electronics float in YOUR house? Also his NES is not plugged into the wall because it runs on magic. (of course)

The background is actually NOT a screen shot, nor made by ripped game sprites. I actually re-created the sprites myself in MS Paint. I borrowed my brother's gameboy version of the game and paused in different areas for reference. I used to make sprites all of the time as a hobby when I was 9 to 11. So it was really fun to get into that again.

This character was a snap for me to draw, since he's Sonic-based, and I drew Sonic characters most of the time from the ages of 9 to 11. Hey, same time-span! That makes this pic Double-Nostalgic! (at least art-wise) I could have made it quadruple if I drew it on lined-paper and saved it as a .bmp
