Technically the X-29. It was never intended to be a Β fighter, although it could make a good light fighter, similar to the F-20.

The forward-swept wings gave it superb maneuverability tho, which is nice

Not necessarily, since composites (necessary to withstand the bending forces a swept-forward wing experiences) are getting cheaper.

I like the forward-swept wings. Many people would assume this was a photograph, but upon closer inspection its a beautifully drawn jet aircraft!
