Found this onΒ Β And I really liked it! You definitely have captured the emotion you are going for! He looks ready to turn and fight or run--but something is definitely wrong! A really wonderful job, especially considering that you did it without a photo reference, which is quite a bit more challenging!
You have nailed the colors here. The oranges and blacks and white all seem to be in just the right places. I like the blending you've done. Too much blending and it wouldn't look like fur, but a little so it doesn't look like pencil lines. The expression is just right. I think maybe my favorite part is the eyes, which are different from human eyes and I think maybe a bit more challenging because of that. But these are just right.Β
The only thing I can see that could use some work is the pen outlining. In some places it stands out a bit more than it should. When the teeth (or the upper mouth) are right beside the white of the background the lining seems a bit too much. I think because white-on-white only needs a lighter line to separateΒ it. The other places with the outlining seem fine--when it is color against color, or color against white the lining doesn't stand out.Β
Great job on this one and keep drawing!! Looking forward to seeing more from you!

I love foxes, so I just had to look at your picture. And I have to say it's really nice! Respect that you could achieve such a result without reference.
Your technique is great. Simple but beautifully detailed, especially the structure of the fur and the shine in the eyes. Working with green and yellow was a good idea for the fur, so it creates more realism. But I think the contrast between black and orange is a bit too much. I would rather have taken a dark gray. But that does not change the fact that the fur looks great!
The emotion is well captured. I think that he feels threatened, but bravely faces the danger. Brave fox!
Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to see more of your art.
PS: Please apologize if my english sounds strange. I'm learning it at the moment.

I like the coloring, the orange looks like it pops out of the canvas! Plus all the bit of green and yellow in the fur, adds so much to the art piece~ And all the detail's in the fur and the whiskers look so natural! The one small thing I would have changed, is instead of black in the white fur, I would have made it a shade of darker or lighter gray, or maybe it's part of the fox's design and I'm just being an idiot (that happens alot, me being an idiot that is). Oh, and I'm very impressed you did this without a reference, I would have completelyΒ failed with out a few references! I also like the color of the eyes, and the fox looks so scared and aggressive, I hope he's ok! ;w;
I'm going to stop annoying you now because you probably don't care about this stupid comment...
I hope you don't mind the completelyΒ random critique, I found this art piece on and really liked it! Keep up the great work!

Oh, no, the poor fox looks really frightened. I would like to help him... A really nice picture. Although I do not know what the fox is afraid of, I get the same fear at the sight of this image. There must be something really bad. Poor guy. Do not worry, friend. I protect you! *growls, whatever is there*
