Description
This was a quick practice, I think it took me and hour or so, to try and color with flat colors only. I turned out very cool especially because coloring water is super hard for me ...but then of course I had to go and slap a bunch of filters across it!
Anyway have another illustration from that fanfic I'm writing. No, Raph does not have fun in this fic at all!

Uuuwaaaa *o* Panic it is. That blur gives it an awesome dynamic tension (makes sense?). Looks great! Especially if it only took you one hour to draw. I can feel the water dangerously closing around him, and it took you only a few, rough brush strokes to achieve that. Nice.

XD But it still looks fresh and dynamic just like the water supposed to look. It's not heavy, overdrawn. It's a great skill to know when to stop drawing, to keep things simple, but fully defined at the same time. OR how to make hours of work look like it didn't take that much effort or struggle which I think is a better word to describe it.

So my dog's name is Yuki, male cat is Momo and female cat is called Malka. Although we rarely use their names, we call them by theirs dozens, and dozens of nicknames. And how are your pets named?

Actually calling them different names is good. I only use their "real' name when I want them to come, or pay attention to me (well, at least my dog) so they are not confused when I casually use their name in a conversation or something.
Those are very pretty names! Haha! Loki though XD I'm guessing he's the most loveable dog in the universe.

But seriously, your water is super cool. I especially like the shape of the surface of the water. It really portrays his panicky flailing about without there being too much splashing. I always admire people who can draw or color water because, well, it doesn't have a color! And it's so see-through, and reflective, and doesn't hold a specific shape, and yeah, it's hard. So kudos to you!

This looks amazing! I love the way you did all the background around him, it adds to the emotion of struggle in the picture. AAAA everything in this picture is just perfect! But, poor Raph XD. Quickly! Swim to the wall or something so you have something to grab onto, so you don't use as much energy

Okay no spoilers but since you're such a good observer and are definitely picking up some hints, I'll tell a few minor details. Yes, Raph still has a collar but it's different from the one in the other pic. He actually gets three new ones throught the fic. and he's definitely in a place with no light pollution and definitely not close to New York City. I don't mind your analyzing. You're definitelly headed somewhere. But I'll leave the rest for the fic.
