And here's Leo and Karai both with blue markings. I'm beginning to see a pattern here. Does each of the brothers have an animal companion with their colors tattoos on them someplace? If so, who are Raph and Donnie's? Are they natural animals, or more like spirit entities? What is their purpose? (sorry for all the questions, I'm just very intrigued.

Yes, all of the turtles have an "animal to go with." The animals are something like deities but I can't tell you what Raph and Donnie have

every turtle is going to have some sort of connection to one animal. The animals were already born with the markings while the turtles paint themselves with them
