I'd like to begin by saying that I think it's unfortunate that you had to receive some 'hate mail' from other people for this drawing.
Regardless, I think you did a good job with the emotions on this character. I see nothing wrong with it. One other thing that I really like is the way you drew the hair on both characters and the fur on the girl's tail (I can't draw hair properly to save my life

The inspiration is when I was drawing a picture before this and it was not turning out right and I've been wanting to draw it all day at work today and the building of frustration upon notice of the suck and the urge to keep drawing even though it kept getting suckier and
