"Yet another day," he groans to himself, as he recovers his energy from "yet another job," killing a town guard. The contract was simple: kill a guardsman. Pay no mind to his personality, nor his plans and dreams. Pay no mind to the life he had led for 28 years, being wiped away within seconds without any hope of victory. Pay no mind to his friends, who must now attend a funeral. Pay no mind to the now grieving widow. Pay no mind the the father who must bury his own son. Pay no mind to the child who must give a eulogy in his memory. The assassin thinks only of the job, and his reward. Money he could spend on whores if he so desired, as a man, a unique being, an immortal soul, has now left this world.
