Yeah, the scanner screws with the colors, so it does sorta look pink.

I actually used purple, because the side of him that's showing is the side of his purple wing, and I guess the shade of purple I used just turned out pink.

I'm re-watching the ep just to confirm (god I'm such a pain) that his wing is blue...
It looks like a faded dark blue, but I guess it wouldn't surprise you if I said I sometimes confuse colours (though only with pink and purple

Problem solved, now whenever somepony starts telling you his wing is blue, simply inform them that, Discord being Discord, his wing is quite clearly dark blurple!!
