Description
This is Saudi El Perseus (brazil) standing at stud at [link] at this show he recieved champion intermediate Arabian purebred colt and went on to win supreme purebred stallion.As I have included the stallions information - please refrain from any rude or thoughtless comments, as both the stallions owner, breeders and trainer will be able to see your comments. Please use the common rule of if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything! Thank you in advance!!

He does look very delicate as do most of his breed, they are bred for desert endurance.

Yeah I know that I had the chance to ride one which had done many endurance competitions, just wonderful to ride *.*
Anyway I looked at the other photos and he doesn't look so thin there, so maybe it was just the perspective that made me curious

I love riding arabians they just sem to float.
In this picture he is standing very tall and trying to indimidate the other stallion so that may be why it looks strange. He is also only a 3-4 year old

It was a wonderful show and the horse were just amazing as were all the handlers. I will be trying to get to this show again this year so I can't wait!

A little question, for me, this horse looks really skinny (look at the neck or the belly), looks more like a the unicorn of the movie the last unicorn. It looks unnatural / unhealthy to me, seems like breeding is going into extreme

Arabians tend to be pretty lightly-built, but are a very healthy breed in general. They excel in endurance events, and there is also an active racing scene. Have a look at the pic of a racing arabian - [link]
And then compare to a pic of a TB - here is an example [link]
That having been said, this photo is of a colt. He's likely to fill out a bit more as he ages into a mature stallion. His neck isn't that slender if you consider that his head is raised. You'll find his neck looks larger thicker if he is looking down or has his neck arched, or if you can see the neck attachment to shoulder better. Have a look at this pic of the same colt: [link] - his neck isn't what I'd call skinny. It isn't short, but that is definitely part of the Arabian breed.

The colour (ignoring the blue of the lighting in this shot) is a Dapple Grey/Gray
Grey is a modifier of a base colour (either black/chestnut/or bay) As the horse ages they grey out and this is one of the stages, and horses can become completely white. Im not certain what colour he was when he was born, Sorry.

The varying shades of grey are also my favourite. I love a light grey horse that has a dark mane and tail. You also get varying shades of rise grey as the red of the original coat fade
