"The Rubber Man stood up and raised his arms over his head, his hands clasped tightly. Bending forward and spreading his legs in a low stance like a spider, his elbows began to invert, angling and bending out, anyone close enough could hear the subtle clack of shoulders and joints dislocating and relocating their formerly held limbs. The Rubber Man’s legs slid out into middle splits, while his arms wrapped tightly around his neck and chest like a self-imposed straightjacket. Slowly, one foot was raised and tucked neatly behind the contortionist’s neck, then the other followed suit, sliding a bit further down his back. Rotating his head in apparent observation of the audience, the Rubber Man’s body was hard to follow."
