Description
The forests of Asethas offer less peril than the jungles in Merolottele. There are less carnivorous plants, less enchanted bogs full mud golems and groping, grabbing hands. The only real danger is... incompetence.

What luck that Xylem found someone in this strange world that shares her specific kink, with just as much enthusiasm. And Mint, knowing the location of just about every sinkable swamp in the area, was more than happy to play with a new friend. This pit of mud in particular was thick, smooth, and very bubbly. Something underground, Mint wasn't sure what, kept it comfortably warm. Xylem was too excited to enter the awaiting mire, she didn't realize until she the surface crept towards her navel that something was... off.

"Mint... You tied the rope to something, right?" Xylem asked, voice quivering from a mix of pleasure and sudden unease.

"Nah!" Mint replied with a smile. A smile that didn't drop, even as Xylem's did. "... Was I supposed to?" Was the fox unaware of their danger? Or did she just not care? Either way, Xylem's first sink in Asethas would end in a submergence... hopefully one she'd resurface from.
