I don't think you quite understand the difference between drawing your own art and uploading something that somebody else drew, fanart or not. Either way, if you want to upload shit with stuff you don't have permission to use in it, be my guest. Like I said before, it can be deleted if you get reported, but if that happens, you have only yourself to blame for not following the advice of a person that was only trying to help.

If you credit Disney, it is NOT stealing their artwork. This is a totally innocent thing, it's not like someone is all like "OOoh, lookit me, I'm so bad for putting this picture of Ariel in my meme! I'm such a rebel!" Nope. No one is going to say that simply because it's such a small thing. However, if it were to be a label or a logo to be printed on many places for many different reasons where MANY people would see it, that is different. For example, if someone used Ariel on an aquarium logo or sign without Disney's permission, that would be illegal and Disney could press charges for having their character stolen. If the person asked Disney beforehand, that might be fine. I really, REAALLLLYYY don't think Disney is going to sue every single person who does this meme, even if they gave credit, just because they used their character. I bet if one of us here asked the Disney company if it was okay, they wouldn't mind. Disney characters are everywhere! Of COURSE we credit the original owners!!! It's not like we're claiming the characters as our own!
