You had at least something to do with it. ^^ I've seen amazing costumes look like crap before because the composition of the photograph and the lighting were terrible.
But, yes, many, many props to Jake for an amazing costume. My sister, who's not into cosplay but loved FFX absolutely plotzed when she saw this photo -- "Hey, that looks FFX, is that a dark version of Titus? No wait, that doesn't make sense--OHMYGODIT'SJECHT!!! Squeeeee!!!! XD"
