Description
("re-upload" because it was removed for some unknown reason?)So this is me doing what I do pretty regularly....studying in my evil
laboratory with my Ipod blasting! I'm such a nerd, I actually graph
a few things like light reflect ratios based on colors and surfaces.
This is actually a first for me because I tend not be IN FRONT of the
camera too often. (I'd rather shoot) This photo was taken inside my
studio room. As you can all see, I REALLY like photography. (duh!) Having
stuff scattered all over the floor is how I do my best research or
conceptualizing, but I obviously clean it up whenever I'm done for the
night. (yeah right. lol)
I didn't use the Nikon D300 for this shot due to the fact that the
shot I was visualizing required a wide-angle lens. (Which my old
Konica-minolta happens to have) The quality isn't all that great but
that's ok, it's only me I'm shooting. Regardless, I really like the way
the shot developed. This is almost exactly what I was aiming for.
Almost the same angle, look and feel so I have to say I'm pretty
happy with it. It's wierd thought. It's like looking at the world I
created for myself. It's like my consciousness observing the sub-conscious
of my own mind's eye. (If that even makes sense?)
This is a trip for me.....I'm observing myself working FOR the camera
and not the other way around for once.
You can see some of the things I've hung on my wall and some of my
older cameras as well. (floor and hanging by the mirror) Also visible
are some of the accessories I've constructed.
So with all that said, I welcome all of you to the raw me which
is rarely ever shown.

Wow, everythin' looks so amazingly sharp and even three-dimensional! I also like the sepia, and the photo ratio is very nice too

I applied just a splash of sepia to it. I was going to leave it in full B&W but, a little warmth here and there can sometimes add life to a photo. I think I made a good decision going slight sepia. I'm really happy with it and thank you for your comment.

My main focus(es) in this shot were not myself or anything around the floor....they were the frames on the opposing walls. I have my reasons for shooting wide-angle, and if you look really carefully, you'll may see what I'm trying to say in this shot?

The Beatles are going to go talk to the 4 models?
Regardless... respect for your focus and drive.
