Basically the best part of my childhood. Sure, all the other games were just as great, regardless of the platform. With graphics getting better with every year, FF VII has been outdated in no time. Maybe that's why it's being underrated by new players. Maybe that's why we're getting FF VII HD Remake. Maybe that's why it is so special.
This particular retro PS1 game had something deep below, laying dormant. I wouldn't be able to tell what but it spiced up the game to the highest point that it could ever rise...that a GAME could ever rise. It's probably the perfect balance between story themes, dark to light, and gameplay!
The hand-drawn backgrounds we used to walk, drive and fly around Cloud and Co. Didn't those seem rather boring and at the same time captivating? It could even be the feelings that we experienced back then...and they sure were a lot of them.
Other than that, 'Chibis from Final Fantasy VII' brings out, from what we've seen in the game, the funny, the cute, the feelings, the action, the names and the story all in one quick flashback.
