I know I'm probably going to sound horrible putting this out, but it's my personal opinion. I preffered your original style, it was gentler and more realistic. With your new stlye, I feel as though everything's too sharp. Like with the ear tips, square eyes and all of the colours. Sorry to be such a downer, and I do admit that I can't draw very well anyway compared to some of the artists out there...
Anyway, I just thought that I should state my opinion.
