Normally Dip's the brave one, but I guess it wasn't the case in this episode.

Normally Dipper is the only one to be brave and save his sister in most episodes. But the finale had to have something special.
I think BOTH Dipper and Mabel were the brave ones in this episode, Dipper jumping to the robot in order to save his sister after the whole pressure Gideon had done to him, and Mabel saving her brother with the grappling hook.

Yee I just rewatched the scene a few times. I would usually assume that Dipper would be the one to save Mabel, but she was the one with the grappling hook and Dipper, who was in her arms, had that scared expression, so I assumed that she pushed her fear aside to rescue her brother
