A super rough reference for Pantropical, one of my coastal dragon things. I have another called Polar who you can see hereI'll have to make a ref for them too at some point pff
In terms of anatomy, they're kinda a combo of a lion, hare and some sorta canine. I also can't tell yet if I want the things on the back of his neck to be spines or feathers

AHH This is a lovely design indeed! Though I don't get why it's called a dragon if it's not really a dragon? Just a small nitpick but personally I feel that calling it a dragon might confuse some people.
As for the things on the back of his neck to me they remind me almost of quills since they don't quite have a structure that I'd call feathers so it would be neat of those were quills that he could shoot out as protection.

As a Feline Lover, lions are one of my favorite cats on the list. A bit of a Canine touch is amazing! Are you ever going to turn them into a Species?
As for the Spines or Feathers, I think the Spines can be a nice touch, but Feathers hold a special place in my heart ;w; Ooh, messing and making creatures is really fun

this one was inspired by trico from the last guardian, and I like long slender bodies and tails so it all kinda came together I guess!
