A picture in tribute of Firestar. I found it so upsetting when he died Dx It was so sad D: I was thinking back to when he first joined the clan after his death, and all the adventures that followed... Good times!

I hate it when people complain about him being to old and shit. (I know you didn't say that, but I wanted to rant.)
Blackstar was a warrior when Firestar first joined the clan, and he's STILL alive and no one's complaining about him.
Mousefur was a warrior (older than Blackstar I believe) when Firestar joined, and she died in The Last Hope when a dark forest kitty snapped her neck! That was the same battle that Firestar died in!
Heavystep died and came back like three times I think, so that makes him REALLY old!
Leopardstar was a deputy when Firestar joined (Or like, the day after), and she died like what, 2 or 3 books before the last hope?
Also Onewhisker was a warrior when Firestar and Graystripe brought windclan home! (If I remember right) Now he's a leader! (Even though he's a total asshole though...)

I agree I hate it when people argue about this. not only that, Firestar is the main protagonist of the series. The first main cat in the ENTIRE warriors series that we all saw. Why is it such a surprise that he lived so long?

he lived so long because he was a leader probably, and he didnt lose lives as quickly as Leopardstar did (she lost two lives in a matter of, what, days? weeks?)
I read on the wiki that firestar was two years older than Bluestar when he died, but the wiki isnt always reliable
and i also heard that the erin's killed him from his battle wounds instead of him being killed by Tigerstar himself because he couldn't be killed by the bad cats but he still had to die because his destiny was fufilled
