A little real-life snapshot of my in-home art studio. To see more shots of the space, plus helpful notes about what's what, you can go here: [link]I work at the drafting table primarily, then switch over to the computer (catty-corner) to do the Photoshop stuff. My wife often sits on the window seat underneath the windows to write while I draw/paint/etc.

I actually am keen on keeping art on the walls, but usually it's more appropriately spaced/decorative than my drafting desk wall. That wall holds a lot of my supplies (dry pigments, brushes, painting mediums, brush cleaner, grinding tools, etc.), but the rest is inspiration and/or my own work. It drives my wife up the wall how 'unorganized' it is, but I've let her organize my cubbies and desk, so it's a compromise.

Heh, yeah, while we have enough artwork to practically wallpaper our living room, we keep most of it in storage to keep it from looking too cluttered. My desk, on the other hand... uh... all this stuff is very important to have handy. I'm sure of it. Even the stuff that's buried.

Good eye, and yes! Although we have plenty of other windows to yell from, so you never know which one we'll be at next.
