This is in essence the Fermi Paradox: a civilization advanced too quickly through Blood Slaughter and corruption of the earth depicted in cosmic horror such as Dead Space (in the workplace: 1, religiosity 2, civilization 3 especially in the DLC), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), Bird Box (2018), A Quiet Place (2018), Shakespeare Hamlet (Fortinbras the silversmith) and the first 3 seasons of Supernatural and Good Omens. Or in the Ancient Sense: Assassin’s Creed (Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla), Troy (2004) and any Hercules movie ending in natural disaster. The Fermi Paradox dictates that if one does not nourish their planet and it’s core the collapse of society results in them becoming it: minerals, stones, etc. Advanced elements or new ones on the periodic table are Altered Carbon from advancement in disease and medication or other consumptions such as Candy or even natural or artificial flavors.
