I keep promising a bit more of an advanced tutorial, so here you go. I was going to add the drop down menu script I came up with for *arszt , but I got lazy and just wanted to finish it. I might add it if anyone REALLY wants a drop down menu. And I like this journal CSS more then that shit white one I had for the last tut. This ones a bit more fruity and it's just easier to work with.
And yes, please feel free to note me or comment if you have any questions, even anything that wasn't covered in this tutorial.

Actually you are not required to close your div tags when doing a journal CSS on DeviantArt. It will automatically close any unclosed tags at the end as to not mess up any of the userpage.
And closing an image tag does nothing for you, but I suppose it's good practice... sorta.

Yeah, gradients always spice things up.
"background-repeat:repeat-x background-position:center top;"
to
" background-repeat:repeat-x;
background-position:center top;"
And the background color to #a1d2f2, the gradient wont jump like it does. 
I can't believe I missed that before I uploaded. But reuploading the fixed one now.

huh, ok ^^ yeah sometimes it would jump right at the start of the bottom, so i thought it was normal ^^ but i don't really have the code file any more. just the css in my journal box. so i don't really change it
