Description 1958 Chrysler Saratoga, in what may be it's final resting place. Wrecked front end, 4 doors, and no Hemi has doomed this car.

poor car

I remember this one. Supposedly it drove to where it sits in this photo even with the frame & suspension messed up, and had 1995 tabs. What is it with dead Mopars and 1995 tabs? A lot of the other cars you bought for parts had them, so did the brown Magnum at S&S

a lot of the cars there had mid-90s tags. Guess that was the lifespan of a 50s-60s car...

At least your cars you got there went for parts and artistic value with a handful of them sold for restoration, I heard they scrapped everything that didn't sell except what they kept, and almost everything at S&S is gonna get scrapped with no parts saved I'm guessing.

I have to call Sartell one of these days, & see what's left.

S&S will probably crush it all, because they are too high-priced.Β  But now scrap prices are in the toilet ($80/Ton), so they'd be wise to wait awhile.

Remember I mentioned a big GMC farm truck out this way?Β  Its gone.

I'll probably get the cops called on me for trying to suggest $800 for both early 60s Dodge pickups at S&S.

It all depends on how badly rusted it is underneath...

finhead4ever In reply to TheMightyQuinn [2012-02-12 02:46:16 +0000 UTC]

A lot of the cars on this property are missing things on the bottom, like entire exhaust systems, floors, pans, trunks, etc...to rust.

SiberianSpirit In reply to finhead4ever [2015-12-18 09:49:51 +0000 UTC]

Not really. Nobody said it had to go on Barrett-Jackson. It needs no restoration, it's still got all the original paint. Just engine work, brakes, tranny. And you know it's got lead-weight oil in everything, it would take 3 apocalypses to gum oil up like that. There's people that got Model-T's running on their original oil.
