Why? What happened to it??

I cut the car in half, and the back end stays in my yard for "art". Parted out the front for eBay, the rest goes to crusher. Sorry.
This is one of the rustiest cars I've ever seen. Lower part of dashboard was gone...no floors, no trunk, etc.

Oh well, you will have to post some pics when you have the yard art all done! Pretty back end on this one though...too bad it was so rusty.

Somewhere I posted a pic of the 59 Plym & 58 Chrysler together (with snow)...

Some of the finest fins around! Man I love '57-'58 Desoto fins.

You have good taste! What makes these fins even better were the dual sport antennas sticking out the top

Now that you mention it, I can see the bases for the antennae. Cool! I didn't know they had those! So, what's going to become of those fine fins? Are you planning on restoring the Desoto, or are you just planning on salvaging all the good parts? That would make a fine loveseat if you put your mind to it.

Somewhere in my gallery is a photo of a row of DeSoto rear ends, all lined up, with those bg antennas sticking out. Great stuff!
Just rusty yard art for my back ends of cars.

I'm trying to find it, but I'm not having too much luck, I'm afraid. Hey, nothing wrong with some high-quality yard art to me!

soooo... did you just kinda find this car in the woods?... one time i found a bus in the woods... and another time i found an old horse carriage that collapsed. it was cool. the bus had a spider the size of my hand.

Kind of... the property is 300 acres, with a lot of oaks & firs. Some cars have been in there so long, you can't see them.
A spider as big as your HAND? Now that's scary....

I have one of those in my yard too! But I do love it. Its a '68 Chevelle. It will be a hot car!

That car is so popular, you can almost rebuild it with repro parts!

Thats a good thing for the body, but the engine is original and still goes after all these years!
