I will always on my soap box to those who will listen say that the classic Sonic design is the objectively best fit for the character, since it was tailored to reflect his personality. Not being tall was a hint at his underdog status. The sharp edges a metaphor for his personality. His youngish appearance a hint to his impatient personality. Not really the classic Sonic, the accurate Sonic. What you're able to draw here, is a more lightharted verision where the cockyness is replaced with adolecent moxey. This is neat because you are using Sonic's design to reflect his personality, the cornerstone of cartooning.

This just doubles Silver's confusion about the scenario: 1. He essentially grew up in a catastrophic wasteland of fire and lava, and 2: he can fly and levitate in a still position at will, thus making this game of no interest to him, because he won't even need to really "move around" from object to object, he can just levitate without touching anything XD

I also played this game with my sisters when younger! it was a difficult game but we survived!
