Strangely it would not surprise me even if I would have liked to see another character scolded for failing his role of hero.
Silver would be perfect in my opinion because he had already argued with Sonic when he did not take his hero role seriously enough in Sonic Rival (and he would have a reason to do so since it might affect the future).
Shadow too but I doubt he would do it because would be a bit like admitting that Sonic is better than him.
