Description
And here's the concept for the Misty Island level

I was inspired by piracy and sea legends. Media such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Treasure Island, my favorite One Piece and others sure helped me with this one. The main locations were the port town entirely made of wrecked ships, and the Shipwreck Cove - lair of the two-headed sea serpent.

The last one was based on deep sea fish such as the viperfish. I have a slight fear of these creatures so i thought it would be the perfect choice for a sea monster to look like (the island itself has a shape of the anglerfish - another one of these creepy things). This serpent is used in the game as a boss and an underwater tunnel.

Anyway, have fun looking for more details like a bumper made of starfish on the rock :3
