Description
Previously, I went into a long explanation on what a toon is, understanding its nature, and going through a basic explanation of a toon spirit. (www.deviantart.com/finnjr63/ar… ) Now, I wanna go into a further explanation of toon spirits and how they function in the body of a toon.As I mentioned before, toon spirits are what is written into the toon for it to come to life, as a toon body without a spirit is a simple lifeless monochrome statue or puppet or whatever. Each toon spirit contains unique properties, conditions, powers, personalities, identities, etc. that are meant to give the toon life. Please see the link above for the basic description about it. Anyway, though I did get a lot of questions (with some now outdated answers I gave), one particular question that was asked a bit was if multiple spirits can reside in a toon. To that I say, yes. And I'll get into details about it now.
So up to 5 spirits can reside in a toon, although it's organized in three categories. First spirit to enter the body becomes the identity spirit. Second spirit to enter becomes the primary spirit, and the last three become secondary spirits. Different effects can happen depending on where the spirit is placed.
Identity Spirit: The first spirit to enter the body becomes the identity spirit, where it will showcase all that it has. Not only will the body accompany all the powers and properties of the spirit, but the identity of the toon as well, both outside and inside. For example, if the spirit of Twilight Sparkle entered a lifeless SpongeBob statue, the statue will contain the colors of Twilight Sparkle as well as its personality, alongside its powers and properties. (Sometimes, certain spirits can merge together into one, but certain spirits have to be designed in a specific way in order for two specific spirits to come together, such as the spirit of Garnet of Steven Universe being just two spirits merged together into one.)
Primary Spirit: The second spirit to enter the body becomes the primary spirit, where it will showcase all the powers and properties of the spirit, but not the identity of the toon. For example, if the spirit of Mega Man entered Jake the Dog with Jake's spirit, Jake will still be himself, although he will now have the powers of Mega Man.
Secondary Spirits: The last three spirits to enter the body become the secondary spirits, where it will only showcase select powers and properties of the spirit, usually minor and probably at random. For example, if the spirit of Star Butterfly entered Lincoln Loud with the primary spirit of Sonic the Hedgehog, an additional power is added and usually nothing more.

TO THE PUBLIC:
The artist does not want to make the idea of toon spirits, or his "Tooniverse" in general, the main focus of his characters, worlds and stories. This whole idea was created for no reason other than to catch the interest of his viewers/readers.

Nobody cares, it’s our right to think up of something cool that will happen! It’s called, collaboration. Do you want to ruin everyone’s work of art being collided into a one big cool story? NO!

To add to that: It doesn't mean I'm gonna abandon the ideas. In fact, I still want to explore the Tooniverse idea as well as the toon spirits. But I want to keep my priorities straight. My main focus will still be on the characters, next being the stories, then the worlds, and then the ideas of the Tooniverse and the toon spirits.
Also...Seth, I didn't make the ideas of toon spirits and the Tooniverse just for the sole reason of catching the interest of viewers and readers. I made them because I think they're interesting ideas of explaining the nature of cartoons that I can use to further explain my ideas and share to people. It's just that I don't want people to focus too much on it to the point where my characters are pushed aside.

Interesting, i was thinking about an idea like this and i imagine characters using colors that matches the spirit that's possessing them,
Example:Ludo possessing the body of Ernie the Chicken from family guy with green colors.

If I were say describing my character I would probably just use like things that show a persona of general traits like say if you character was that over enthusiastic kid that snitches on everything, and is constantly hyped because of the tons of sugar it ate would be the hype kid or something like that just use common sense

I have an idea for merging spirits, which would be used for Steven Universe. And evolving spirits could be used for Pokémon. But I don’t know about summoning spirits.

This is pretty weird how putting multiple spirits in someone basically makes a fusion of them (especially since in WOL when you connect spirits to a fighter it just gives the abilities of those spirits and they don't look like them)
In my Tooniverse(the name might change soon), i plan on doing something inspired by DDLC where there's a big computer with backup files for each character labeled "insertcharacternamehere.chr" and if you were to delete those files it gets rid of the character permanently...

Let’s say that a toon comes into contact with the Dip. The body is destroyed, but not the spirit.
