that’s so interesting! I use GIMP but I’ve never considered using it alongside sai - which parts would you say you do in sai? thank you!

i do all my painting/tablet work in SAI, and most of the color
changing and lighting in GIMP as well as BG blending :3

i would highly suggest it, its such a clean and neat
program to use, i find it much easier to handle over PS

yeah PS confuses me but I’ve considered making the jump from gimp to it - I may do the 30 day SAI trial first and see if that works better for me!
