Ikemoto is actually getting better. Boruto's actually starting look like Boruto,but with a rounder face.
the filler haven't started yet,they probably will after the anime recaps the movie though.

I've only seen a bit of the anime with friends, though I like the original story they did with it with the chakra snakes.

Nah, the fillers are not coming. Kodachi and Kishimoto are both part of the script-making team, and the Ghost arc itself was far from a filler. Seeing as both Kodachi and Kishimoto are part of the Anime's writing team, the Anime will be like DBS and become the original source (alternatively, it will be its own story).

That is great! as long as the graphics look better than the manga, i felt the Ghost arc was kinda slow paced at first but then it got entertaining when most of the old characters (now grown ups) showed up.
On other side, i dont see the point in making the manga (except for selling tankoubons) if they are going straight with the anime
