these are some Amalgam Comics characters I created (3 of which are just updated versions of cannon characters and one cannon character who was mentioned but not seen) , using Acatl’s Power Ranger suit creation template, based on DC's Blackest Night and the Emotional Spectrum Lanterns
(also if anyone has any suggestions on who I should merge with Saint Walker and Indigo-1 please let me know)

Atrulk: Sometime after the accident that created The Skulk, the government began researching how to create similar supersoldiers via the use of a combination of gamma-related science and magic. As part of their experiments one volunteer was exposed to both Gamma radiation and blood magic focused through an alien red lantern, that had been found miles away from the crash site of Rhomann Sur, the subject was transformed into Atrulk who then broke out of the facility, taking with the red lantern with him. Atrulk began a personal vendetta against both Iron Lantern and Mandarinestro, claiming that before the experiments he had been injured as an innocent bystander in a battle between the two, using the red lantern Atrulk began infusing others with Gamma-irradiated blood turning them into the Red Gamma Corps.

Larfleekiel: Ezekiel Stane was the son Iron Lantern villain Olivia Stane, and was known for two things his great intellect and his greed for power. Having a hatred of Hal Stark/Iron Lantern, Ezekiel wanted enough power to destroy him so he sought a power source similar to Hal's so using his own scanners he found it on the planet Okaara. Using his own teleportation technology he arrived there quickly killing the alien Larfleeze and stealing his Orange Lantern, back on Earth he used the Lantern to construct his own power armour to counter Stark's and grafted parts of Larfleeze's D.N.A to his own body ( as well as grafting parts of Larfleeze's brain to his own), taking the name Larfleekiel he began his quest to destroy Hal Stark as his greed for power grew more and more.

Mandarinestro: The Mandarinestro was once the greatest member of the Green Nova Corps until he tried taking over his home world of Korugar, he was eventually arrested by not only Rhomann Sur but also by a fellow Korugarian (of the rival Starbrand Corps); Sinestro. Stripped of his position as a member of the Green Nova Corps, he was banished to a planet that one of his ancestors had tried to take over (under the human alias of Genghis Khan); Earth, seeking out power he found the burial site of an artificial Qwardian magma dragon (later known as Fing Fang Flame) and unearthed ten Qwardian power rings, each harnessing the power of a different fear/phobia. Using his new found power he became a recurring foe of both Iron Lantern and Hal Jordan, eventually forming his own corps including his adopted son (the biological son of Rhomann Sur) Temugon Sur.

Iron Lantern: Hal Stark was a millionaire and the founder of Stark Aircraft, whilst testing a flight simulator it was drawn to the crashed alien spacecraft of the last member of the Green Nova Corps member Rhomann Sur. When the simulator crashed shrapnel was lodged in his heart but still Hal managed to get to the dying alien, using his technology to construct a suit of power armour as well as a magnetic device to stop the shrapnel from entering his heart. After defeating the aliens that shot down Rhomann's ship, Hal became both a superhero and an agent of Oa the living planet. Recently he has recreated the Green Nova Corps by creating power suits for former members of both the Green Nova Corps and the Starbrand Corps, even recruiting allies Kyle O'Brien a.k.a Green Guardsman, Rhodes Stewart a.k.a Green Machine, Tagak the Lantern Lord, Frankie-Lynn Rayner a.k.a Jade Nova, Wally Allen a.k.a teenage version of Nathaniel Richards (Chronos-Tut/Professor Kang/Kang the Time Conqueror) in hiding a.k.a Lantern Lad and G'Nort Esplanade G'Neeshmacher a.k.a G'Nova.

Madame Sapphire: Whitney ' Pepper ' Ferris was the daughter of Senator Harrington Ferris and a pilot at Stark Aircraft and was part of a love triangle with both Happy Kalmaku and Hal Stark. At some point Pepper came into contact with a parasitic alien mask that gave her powers similar to Iron Lantern but attempted to alter her mind to make herself believe that she was hideously ugly and that was why she could never be with either Happy or Hal, twisting her love into rage, rage used to fight Iron Lantern. For years Pepper would be repeatedly possessed by the sapphire mask until Hal eventually destroyed it. Recently Pepper was injured in a battle between Iron Lantern and Larfleekiel causing shrapnel to be lodged in her heart, Hal saved her life by designing and giving her a magnetic device similar to the one keeping his heart beating, he also gave her power armour similar to his, however things became complicated when the sapphire mask reformed and re-bonded with Pepper. This time however the mask didn't try to alter her personality instead allowing her to access the power of Madame Sapphire to protect Hal, becoming Madame Sapphire again Pepper has started constructing replicas of her own armour and recruiting others to form the Madame Sapphire Aid.

Black Brand: Born William Gilbert, the son of the owners of a funeral home, he became obsessed with two things fire and death. Although his family attempted to cure him of his obsession they were unsuccessful, as he was repeatedly arrested on several charges of arson and necrophilia as a teenager. As an adult he became an inventor before eventually becoming a super villain enforcer for Justin Puppeteer, as Black Brand he wore a skin-tight power suit that he designed, claiming that it could absorb lifeforce and convert it into darkfire, although upon further investigation was revealed to just create chemically coloured flames. But more recently has been revealed as a new avatar of death; coming back from the dead bringing with him the ability to raise the dead throughout the universe.
