Description
From side to side his eyes shifted suspiciously. He could feel the heat of his glare always. It was on him right now, full of hatred and self-loathing. He took a few deep breaths to steady himself and work up the nerve to meet his searching gaze. He looked up into dull blue eyes that were so alike to his own. As their gazes met and matching glares were exchanged, he couldn’t help but take in the rest of the mans terrifying features. From his long nose to his too full lips the man was not pretty to look at. He had a small skinny face with eyes to far apart and a forehead that was too wide. Scratches adorned his entire face from the last time he resisted them. No matter what you did, no matter how hard you fought, they always win. He’s heard it said that after a time you learn to obey, to listen and do what your asked to do. You learn not to resist any longer. But the guy never seemed to learn. He would watch as they came for him and every time he resisted them they would give him the shot. Funny how some people never seemed to learn. But then again he still resisted so he couldn’t condemn the man for trying. Everyone has to try sometime.
The man suddenly whipped around at the grating sound of the door being opened, terror springing into his eyes. His breath came in short gasps and his pulse quickened to a painful pace. He knew it was painful. He could feel it.
Two men wearing stark white uniforms came in and reached for his arms. He struggled like it was the fight for his life, and maybe it was. They called for the men waiting in the halls. There was always extra men to help with him, he was always so strong, even when defeated. They gave him a shot that sent him into a semi-conscious state. There were taking him away and he was never coming back from where he was going. He always caused problems here, always started fights and would yell and scream through the night for no reason other then to annoy everyone.
He had been told that if he continued in his ways he would be taken to the place where everyone was in a nice soft room by themselves with nothing in it but a bed, table and chair, and a big shiny mirror.
It took them about an hour to get there and as they walked him into his new room he looked around. To the right was his new bed, looked comfortable, in front of him was a chair with a table in front of it, and to his left was the mirror.
As he looked into the reflective surface and once more saw the man glaring at him, he lunged.
