Description
- Once members of a group of people who would fight around the galaxy for opposite reasons (Saiyans conquered planets and Green Lanterns were basically just the space police).

- Seen as legendary warriors among the group that they would surround themselves with

- After a key moment in their lives involving the destruction of a place that they held close to them by the hands of a bald headed alien tyrant (Planet Vegeta being blown up by Freeza and Coast City being destroyed by Mongul) they were corrupted by an evil force that controlled them and made them go against their morals for their own gain (Bardock being corrupted by the Time Breakers and Hal Jordan being posessed by Parallax)

- They both gained new armour after being controlled

- The entities that control them would later go on to use other powerful characters in their worlds later on
