Second one has two conditions in my head that cause the horn to be like that, one being crystallization which can occur with a parents exposure to the crystal heart and randomly effect a body part (here being the horn) and the second being keratin overgrowth (the horn in a sequencing error in the dna miscommunicates the growth of the horn, so with age it sprouts secondary mostly useless "horns" on the... horn)
