Description Finally! I have finished the prize for ‘s second place for the ’s contest ‘A Fairy Tale Heroine/ Princess in the Wrong Fairy Tale’

requested the Wizard of Oz for me this was rather challenging because when I was little I had an illustrated version of the book (it was only line work, it was second hand, and a few pictures had been coloured in so I made a mission to fill all the pictures in with colour) I had always imagined the wizard to look like he did the book so in a way I never imagined the wizard to look like anything but how the book portrayed him.

So I spend a long time thinking about how he should look like, then I want to Lady GaGa’s Born This Way Ball and I saw Mother G.O.A.T. and it all made sense to how the wizard should look like. So now I imagine the wizard of Oz to resemble Mother G.O.A.T. only a male version. I tried to incorporate the actual ‘wizard’ though I had way too much trouble to imagine how he would have looked like. I blame the illustrated book I had lol

Also interesting fact ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ was the first book I read… though I had a lot of help from my mum lol I was like 6 lol so I have an excuse lol

No I haven't been in the born this way ball concert. She didn't come to Canada for born this way ball in 2012. Force to watch lady gaga born this way ball on youtube,lol. Hopefully she comes in 2013 so I go with my friend and see lady gaga live. Have you gone to born this way ball?

People who like lady gaga and post stuff. Lady gaga also post stuff too. Also the website has a chat room where can meet littlemonsters and talk to them. For example mexicanlittle, USAlittlemonster, monster, gaylittlemonster, bisexuallittlemonster, fashionforlife,ladygagachat,etc. I try to chat with lady gaga but her chatroom always full . Pretty much website where you meet people who are just like u and always like lady gaga.

Wow, this is really impressive vision of the Wizard. Even ghastly! Nice details, like mascaron faces in the golden chair. Felt tipped pens really dissolve in water so gently? I must try! Are they some special pens? I think I can find a few in a drawer, but they are just usual China-made school ware, I'm not sure if it works. But I guess I will try anyway. Good job! Congratulations! PS. This is a prize, so I will make a print and hang on my board at the desk - I told you before

thank you well it depends on the pens and the paper, i use watercolour paper though you have to get the right type of water colour paper and brand or pen. i use canson watercolour paper of medium quality, on other forms the pen leakes too much and you end up having no control over the pen. i use Stabilo point 88 pens for this and then sometimes combine them with watercolours when i add the water.

Very nice work. Once of my favorite things about your work is the muted, pale colors. Sometimes bright colors can be a little overwhelming. Do you use watercolors?

thank you yeah i wanted to do delecate colours especially in this one. umm yes and no... i use water colours sometimes however, most of the time i use felt tipped pens on watercolour paper, and then apply water to them giving a watercolour feel though on the face of the wizard, i did use the felt tipped pens on a separate peice of paper and then applied it to this one
