But for what?
Only to allow our own flesh and blood to rob, hurt and kill this once called Pearl of the Orient?

There's so much corruption in this country you can smell it wherever you go.

Very powerful piece, full of emotion and regret. As I have been married to a Filipina for a long time, I consider myself close to your country. She echo's your feelings almost everyday when she watches TV Patrol.
Reading your explanation, all I can say is to lift up, it is not about "fighting" as you stress. It is about creating and improving. My dream is when we retire we will move to Bohol and I will teach at the local schools. You have to start with the children.

Agreed, will we let some puny president desecrate the sovereignty of the Philippines over the Momenrandum of Agreement on Ancestral domain? Yeah, I gotta let that out. I'm pissed with the way the Arroyo administration handled the issue of Mindanao, considering I grew up in a lowly city there. Nice piece of art. It's very symbolic especially the ropes and blindfolds that envelop our Mother land. Kudos!
