Okay then maybe i can tell you here. Okay First in the Scketch do the BG you want, then don't lineart it, After to color the Character fisrt Color the BG with the Scketch, for rocks star with the principal color like grey in this sample, when you are done with that grey choose another Grey but more darker, star doing some lines in the rock surface and some tiny lines for the cracks, do the same with more and more darker greys and that is all
