Remember my Goseiger Movie reference list? Well, it turns out it wasn't just limited to just the villains! Their stuff is also refernces to movies! Cool right? I didn't know about this until a few days after I posted my previous list, I would have added these if I had known. Oh well, what's done is done...Anyways, since their's not much I'll better explain all these references:
First Row:
Top left: The foot solider mooks of the series are actually named after a genre of movie rather than a specific movie.
Top right: The Warstar mothership is named after 2 things; The film Independence Day and surprisingly, The Invaders which is NOT a movie but a TV show, I did not see that coming.
Second row:
Mid left: The Yuumajuu's box is named after the film Hellraiser.
Mid Right: the Mantrintis' underwater lab is named after Terminator. Once Brajira got a hold of it, the lab was renamed after the film Labyrinth.Β (RIP David Bowie-Sensei...)
Third row:
The name of Brajira's master plan to rebuild the Earth into his own dreaming image was named after the movie, Never Ending Story.
FourthΒ row:
The names of each faction of evil is named after a movie as well!
Warstar is an obvious anagram for Star Wars, Yuumajuu is named after Rise of the Gargoyles aka U.M.A 2010 in Japan, and Matrintis is a combination of both the Matrix and Atlantis.
