Part two of my ‘Hide’ comic. Here is where I use my one year of Chinese to my advantage~! Wooo~! Beware of my nerd-ness, as I explain Chinese~!韩国在哪儿? (Hán guó zài năr?= Where is Korea?)

Hello Russia. Have you seen Kore-AIYAH! W-What’s wrong with your stomach-aru?!
I’m pregnant with an asian.
Okay, here is where I will be a nerd.
In Mandarin Chinese, some words have two different spellings. It just so happens that the word ‘where’ is one of them. The one I was taught was “哪里” or “nă lĭ”. However, there is another- which is the one I used above. And this is the Beijing dialect, which is where China gets his little speech-thingy in Japanese. “-Aru”. “哪儿” is “năr”, and in Japanese the “儿” or "r" is transliterated as “aru”. See how that works?

(I wish my school had ANYTHING that taught you any bit of chinese, my school has absolutely nothing>.> all we get is 5 spanish's one class for german and one for French.)END RANT- This awesomeness is well awesome but I still wish I knew for sure what was being said...but all of this is just pure genius ^^ cant wait to read moar!

I miss my Chinese class... That was fun. We didn't have to memorize the characters, but they were extra-credit on exams. (Guess who got A's all year?)
