Long neck, lean body, long whip-like tail. Males are more muscular than females. They move in a cat-like manner.

They have small fangs.

Facial markings : tear-like black marking, similar to cheetahs, can be broader or thinner (average is shown on this picture).

tan skin on the face and neck, the light-haired ones can have freckles.

fur on the body, dark scales on the legs (like bird have). Fur is always golden-ish ; it can range from a light gold almost white to a very dark brownish one. They usually have darker markings on their fur (though not all do). Those markings can be of any shape and size, and their color ranges from pale brown to solid black. Belly is always paler. The fur is usually short, but some have fluff on their chest and belly.

Always long hair/mane. Hair/mane is usually dark brown or black ; there are rare occurences of light brown and red manes, blond is the rarest. Can be of any type (straight or curved, thick or thin, just like human hair).

Eyes are usually golden or amber. Can be dark brown or green when the mane is of lighter color (rare), but never blue.

hands are shaped like a human one, but they are covered with dark scales and are clawed. Feet are dragon-like.
