It is not just because they are perfectly adapted to it that every dragoness species is named after an element. They possess complete control over it as well, far more than any human ever could in their lifetime. However, they are completely unable to wield even the simplest magic of any other element, unlike humans who can, with training, master any of the 8 elements. This potential is a sore subject for quite a few dragonesses and was one of the causes of the original conflict between them and humans.

As usual, I'm trying to improve so any feedback is appreciated.
