Description Griffin Fire Rescue Engine 3, is stationed out of Griffin Fire Rescue (GFR) Station 3, located at 2009 Stacy Warner Drive, in South Griffin. in 1998, during a booming development period for Griffin, County EMS or EMS transport all together, spread very thin, So, GFR designed and purchased this one ofΒ a kind, 1998 Pierce Lance EMS Transport Rescue Pumper. At the time, before the construction of Station 3, this piece was Engine 1, it served as Engine 1 for 16 years, until the construction of Station 3, where it was refurbished and placed into service as Engine 3. this truck was refurbished with allΒ  new, Whelen Rota-Beam Lights. this truck features a Cummins ISX12 450 HP Engine, with a Allison HD4060PR transmission, along with a 500 Gallon Poly Tank, with a 1500 GPM Waterous Single Stage Pump. This truck has seating for 5, however is only staffed by 3. this truck features a Stryker Power-Pro XT gurney, and is still used for transport.

Hmmm the old Oviedo engine if i'm not mistaken. They had something similar to this.

Yup! Right on! I actually took a trip to the Ten-8 plant a few days ago, to look at purchasing this piece for a volunteer department I serve.
