Tasuke was hard at work when the door slammed open. "Tasuke! What is taking so long? Surely knowing you, you would be done by now." Soski screamed.
"I'm sorry but I have encountered an obstacle and have no idea what caused it." Tasuke replied. She looked at the orb that held Leonid captive. She felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Tasuke I know you are trying really hard. I also know that something is wrong. I feel a huge disturbance that we have overlooked and that needs to be fixed as soon as possible." Soski said and the door opened and in walked number five, no one knew what he looked like because he always had his hood covering his hair and eyes. He was holding Daisuki. "What have we here?" Soski asked as he lifted the girls chin.
Daisuki growled,"What do you want you insufferable freak?"
Soski laughed," Feisty aren't we?" he let go of her chin and Daisuki looked at Tasuke and Tasuke quickly looked away.
"You can go number five." Grabbing Daisuki roughly. Number 5 left and Soski threw Daisuki on the floor.
"Soski stop she didn't do anything to you." Tasuke screamed making Soski turn. Daisuki saw her chance unsheathing her claws and ran towards Soski who lifted an arm and froze her in place.
"Man you are annoying. What should I do with you?" Soski asked eyes filled with hatred.
Daisuki's tail twitched "Just do what you want, creep." Daisuki mumbled.
Soski laughed and unfroze her "Get back to work Tasuki." Soski said disappearing.
Daisuki sighed "Does he always do that to you?" she asked looking at Tasuke.
"Yes. I'm just a puppet in his eyes." Tasuke replied, sadness filled her voice and she went back to her book.
"What's that?" Daisuki asked curiously.
"Come here and I'll show you." Tasuke answered motioning her to come over. Daisuki held a hand out and touched the book and it glowed. "That's funny the book has never done that before." Tasuke said.
"Do you ever think about running away?" Daisuke asked sitting down.
"Yes. I do all the time. However I don't have the ability to." Tasuke sighed disappointedly.
"Well why don't we run away together. I'm part neko. I'd be happy to help. Anything to get away from this place." Daisuki replied gazing at Tasuke slyly.
"Agreed but I want to finish up with this guy. I don't want to leave him here." Tasuke said pointing to Leonid.
"Who is he anyways?" Daisuki asked curiously looking out the window enjoying the warm sun on her face.
"Well it's a long story." Tasuke explained and told Daisuki who Leonid was and what her job was as a witch with power over memories and what her book was, while Daisuki kept her company all the while.
