I'm going to design clocks for every chapter cover page; that will be fun! I drew one half of this long ago, what held me back from finishing was having to trace, flip, and trace that for the other half. But, eventually, I did it. Arr.

this is so great!!! I'm always astounded by your patience for details... especially symmetrical, technical, tedious details... hahaha... which I severely lack, hahaha
What I'm super impressed by, though, is how it's not boring for all the lack of different colors. My greatest trick as an artist is to trick my viewers into thinking my pictures are more interesting than they really are by putting in a lot of color contrast... so you know when someone is really skilled when they can make a visually interesting monochromatic work

Thank you! Sometimes they're frustrating, but often I get lost in just the fun of doing them and it's very comfortable.
And another thank you! Lately I've been approaching value contrast as more vital than color contrast, and I think it's made my pieces more striking.
Thanks! Oh but I think I was misleading; this isn't for a chapter cover. I plan to do all the more different, black and white clocks for those. This was for fun. ^^
